This is a beautiful 16 Strand basket weave Kumihimo braided necklace made of satin threads to co-ordinate with a stunning handmade lampwork pendant made by Juliette of Avette – lampwork glass beads by Juliette.
Each pendant is handmade and therefore totally unique. This necklace is in a purple and bronze colourway.
The necklace is 19” (49cm) long and 10mm thick. The pendant is 2”(5cm) long. It connects using a strong magnetic clasp. Free UK Delivery

I have made this necklace using the ancient method of Japanese braiding called Kumihimo which translates as “gathered threads”. Dating from around 550 AD, Kumihimo was used to make the cords for lacing the Samurai warriors and their horses armour by interlacing strands. Today these same methods are being used with the addition of beads to create uniquely striking jewellery.
It will be posted gift wrapped in an Organza Bag.

If you are not entirely happy with completed jewellery I am happy to accept returns or exchanges - providing that item(s) are returned unworn or unused, and in their original condition and packaging.
Please let me know of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving it. Return shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
I package everything very carefully, but should your order arrive damaged then please contact me straight away with photos of the damage.
