This is a complete kit to start you off on beaded Kumihimo Jewellery making. It will contain all the equipment and materials to make 2 braided bracelets.
The kit will consist of –
- Mini Disk,
- Kumihimo Weight Lite, 45g,
- 8 x Kumihimo Bobbins,
- Zap Gel Glue,
- Floss Threader,
- Fray Check,
- Big Eye Needle,
- Enough seed beads in two different colours to make two bracelets,
- 2 Glue-in clasps,
- Full set of instructions with bead layouts for 4 different patterns.
There are a number of different colour options for you to choose from. If you would like a different colour selection please select the ‘Your choice’ option and enter your colours in the notes section when ordering. Depending on stock, this option may take a little longer to post.

Braiding has been practiced in different forms all over the world for hundreds of years. Originally developed to make cords and rope, many of these same methods have been updated to use beads to create uniquely striking jewellery.
Kumihimo is the ancient method of Japanese braiding, which translates as “gathered threads”. Dating from around 550 AD, Kumihimo was used to make the cords for lacing the Samurai warriors and their horses armour by interlacing strands. Today these same methods are being used with the addition of beads to create uniquely striking jewellery.

If you are not entirely happy with completed jewellery I am happy to accept returns or exchanges - providing that item(s) are returned unworn or unused, and in their original condition and packaging.
Please let me know of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving it. Return shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
I package everything very carefully, but should your order arrive damaged then please contact me straight away with photos of the damage.
