Valentine’s Day

Hello,​My name is Barbara.​MARRA  jewellery started from my fascination of Irish crocheted lace. After some months of making lace elements from the thread, I realised that using a thin wire could give even more interesting results. I work with silver filled, sterling silver, fine silver, gold filled and copper wire in different techniques: crocheting, kumihimo, wirewrapping, tangling. I like to create sculptural wire jewellery with gemstone and crystals and I like to incorporate also other materials like wood, sea glass, ceramics, paper, metal mesh. The very new medium for me is porcelain which I am really happy to work with.All my jewellery is handmade and very unique, mostly made in only one piece. Any design could be repeated but will not be identical.
