Beach Street Art evolved out of my inability to leave the beach without putting something in my pocket – a sail shaped shard of ancient pottery, sea shells and driftwood – all forged by nature in a gritty collaboration between the relentless surf and ever shifting sand – but my favourite beach find will always be the beautiful frosted nuggets of sea glass I use in my flower and coastal art. I love the fact that these little gems once had other lives and that a broken plate or bottle has now found a new life inside a piece of my art.
My aim is to create fun, quirky, original art that is always a joy to look at and becomes a talking point hanging on your wall.
