Buttercup can’t wait to go on adventures with you! Buttercup is a handmade 34 cm (approx) Waldorf inspired doll, entirely stuffed with organic Filges wool. She is made using my own UKCA tested pattern so she is safe for the smallest hands to cuddle.

Buttercup can’t wait to go on adventures with you! Buttercup loves going on adventures and climbing trees. Of course, quite often she falls and hurts herself, and needs cuddles aplenty to help her feel better again. She is a little ray of chattering sunshine in your arms!
Special features: Buttercups are her favourite flowers, so she has a single yellow buttercup flower appliqued on her collar with embroidery detail on the flower. Buttercup wears a sewn on pleated romper suit with a pastel yellow top and a golden yellow body.
Materials: Buttercup is stuffed with Filges organic batting wool. Her little romper suit (sewn on) is made from beautifully soft cotton velour. Her face, hands, ears and feet are made from De Witte Engel doll skin interlock knit. Her hair is a crocheted DollyMo mohair cap. Her eyes and little buttercup flower are embroidered with Anchor embroidery thread.

Safety: UKCA tested – safe from birth.
Durability: Buttercup’s body is fully lined with doll skin interlock knit for extra strength. All seams are double sewn with Coats Nylbond thread so they can stand up to active play.

Recommended age: safe from 0+, these soft dolls with non-removeable clothing minimise frustration in play for younger toddlers, making them a wonderful choice for a first doll.
Buttercup has a little fabric label sewn in the seam of her right leg with the Rowan Tree dolls logo on the front and the UKCA mark on the reverse.
Buttercup comes in a handmade presentation bag with a Rowan Tree doll stamp in the corner. This bag has a simple baby soft velcro closure. The hand dyed fabric the bags are made from comes from the lovely Anne at Bluespacequilts.
Care advice:
Ideally use spot washing for any mishaps! However Buttercup can also be handwashed with care if necessary.
Buttercup’s hair may flatten a bit over time – the mohair cap can be gently brushed with a pet slicker to fluff it up again if this happens.
Buttercup is not waterproof –
