Mouse doll teddy – Mabel

Meet Mabel ,an 8 inch handmade Waldorf inspired soft mouse doll.

Her soft little body is entirely stuffed with organic Filges wool. She has dark caramel skin. Her face, hands and feet are made using high quality dark caramel coloured De Witte Engel cotton interlock. Mabel is entirely made from all new, en71-3 certified materials so you can be confident they are safe and high quality.

Mabel’s face has been shaped from wool using needle felting techniques and hesr dark brown eyes and pink mouth and nose are delicately embroidered by hand.

Mabel’s head fur and ears are wonderfully soft to feel and stroke, and are made from Shannon luxe cuddle fleece fabric. This is sewn into a wig cap which is then sewn to the head very firmly. Mabel also has a little white fur bib piece which is sewn in between her chest and tummy, giving her an extra dimension of softness.

Mabel’s romper suit is sewn on and is not removable, so the littlest can easily play with him without frustration. Her romper , hands and feet are fully lined for extra strength and robustness. All seams are double sewn using extra strong Coats Nylbond thread. Mabel has a little tail which is hand appliquéd with a blanket stitch detail.

Mabel is a unique, one of a kind handmade Warldorf inspired doll. She is made from my own fully UKCA tested pattern and carries the UKCA mark on the reverse of her Rowan Tree doll label, which is sewn into her body suit.

Mabel can’t wait to meet her new mum or dad for cuddles and play. She’s a joyful little soul who would make a lovely addition to a woodland themed nursery.
