Meet Acorn, a 13 inch handmade Waldorf inspired soft doll. Acorn loves playing in the leaves and collecting sticks. His soft little body is entirely stuffed with organic Filges wool. Acorn is handmade by me using my own UKCA tested pattern, so he is safe for the smallest hands to cuddle.

Meet Acorn, a 13 inch handmade Waldorf inspired soft doll. Acorn loves playing in the leaves and collecting stocks. His soft little body is entirely stuffed with organic Filges wool. His face, hands and feet are made using high quality light café coloured De Witte Engel cotton interlock. Acorn is entirely made from all new, en71-3 certified materials so you can be confident they are safe and high quality.
Acorn’s face has been shaped from wool using needle felting techniques and his dark caramel eyes and pink mouth are delicately embroidered by hand. His face is gently brushed with stockmar colouring wax, which can be re-applied if necessary. Acorn’s hair is wonderfully soft to feel and stroke, and is made from Shannon luxe cuddle fleece fabric. This is sewn into a wig cap which is then sewn to the head very firmly.
Acorn’s romper suit is sewn on and is not removable, so the littlest can easily play with him without frustration. His romper , hands and feet are fully lined for extra strength and robustness. All seams are double sewn using extra strong Coats Nylbond thread. He comes with a pair of removable little booties which are made from corduroy fabric with a contrasting green corduroy sole, and the softest ribbing cuffs. Acorn has a friendly little acorn with a hand embroidered face appliquéd onto the front of his collar.
Acorn comes in an acorn shaped, fully lined presentation bag (hand made by me). The bag is made from corduroy fabric with a beautiful ice dyed green toned cotton lining. This material is hand dyed by the wonderfully talented Anne at Bluespacequilts, and is en71-3 certified. The bag is closed with a small velcro closure and the opening can be tightened using the drawstrings.
Acorn is a unique, one of a kind handmade Warldorf inspired doll. He is made from my own fully UKCA tested pattern and carries the UKCA mark on the reverse of his Rowan Tree doll label, which is sewn into his body suit.
Acorn can’t wait to meet his new mum or dad for cuddles and play. He’s a joyful little soul who would make a lovely addition to a woodland themed nursery. In his little acorn bag he would look wonderful under a Christmas tree!
