Vernal Equinox – The Vernal Equinox (the start of astronomical spring) occurs when the centre of the sun is directly above the equator. Day and night are of equal length around the globe. This occurs twice a year, the other equinox being the Autumnal Equinox in Autumn.

Size shown stitched on 14 count Aida 6.5 x 6.5 cm (28 Count Evenweave fabric could be used also).
(Extra fabric allowance included for tensioning in hoop/ frame whilst stitching, and for mounting the finished item).
