Handmade science pattern dichroic glass necklaces in a range of colours. Each glass pendant is mounted onto a handmade eco-silver bail and comes with an 18″ sterling silver chain. The necklaces are presented in gift boxes.
The dichroic glass appears to change colour at different angles in the light and so each pendant may appear to be more than one colour. For example the pink pendant looks gold in some circumstances – see the photographs for the colour shift.
The pendants vary in size as they are hand cut but they all measure between 2.5-3cm long by approximately 1.5cm wide.
We made these necklaces by cutting and layering dichroic glass before fusing it in our kiln. The eco-silver bails are made in our workshop using traditional silversmithing techniques.
The bails are attached to the glass cabochons using two part epoxy resin.
