A handmade sterling silver and dichroic glass ring saver necklace.
The necklace is designed to safely hold your ring whilst you are working but also to be a beautiful necklace when you are wearing your ring on your finger. The ring can be put onto and removed from the necklace without having to undo the chain – see video.
Perfect for NHS staff or catering staff who can’t wear their engagement ring at work but want to keep it with them.
The necklace comes with an 18″ sterling silver chain and is presented in a gift box.

We made this necklace by first creating a mosaic slab of dichroic glass by cutting and layering shards of glass before fusing it in our kiln. The glass slab was then cut into heart shaped cabochons using a circular saw before being fire polished in the kiln.
We made the sterling silver mount using traditional silver smithing techniques. The heart is then attached to the mount using epoxy resin.
The pendant measures 3cm long by 3cm wide (at the widest point of the silver).
The silver weighs less than 7.78g and so it has not been hallmarked.
