I have used a variety of embroidery stitches to create this shoreline scene. Satin stitch using a variegated blue thread for the sea, lots of tiny french knots to describe the stones and pebbles that are washed up. Also to describe the seafoam. I love using the woven wheel stitch as I think they look like limpet shells.
I like to make my embroidery a form of wearable art. These mini pendants are really summery and would make a brilliant addition to your summer accessories!
