The view depicted on this brooch is of the sea lapping along the shoreline, amongst the washed up stones, pebbles and seashells. I have used tiny French knot embroidery stitches to describe the stones and pebbles. I then used a woven wheel to describe the shells and more French knots to describe the sea foam.
The whole size of the brooch is 4cm and the frame is a wooden min embroidery hoop which has a brooch pin attached to the back.
Each brooch comes wrapped in tissue and placed in a small pillow style gift box.
