Welcome to The Tulip House – my textile art business.
Inspired by the surrounding Norfolk countryside, I use natural fabrics such as linens and wools, to create wildlife protraits on cushions. I love the challenge of combining natural and recycled fabrics using raw edged applique, free-motion embroidery and hand sewing. Each piece is a one-off composition of fabrics.
I also use recycled cashmere to make a range of gloves and scarves and other recycled fabrics to make bags.
