The Twisted Felter is a small business run from the Tamar Valley on the borders of Devon & Cornwall. A shepherdess of Rare Breed sheep, textile artist, hand spinner, weaver and dyer, I am passionate about all thing woolly.
Championing British Wool, my own flock of mixed Rare Breeds allows me an in depth knowledge of fibre and its suitability for different crafts.
Creating characterful wool sculptures and curating mini weaving and needle felting kits alongside Learn To Spin kits allow me to pass my knowledge and love of fibre on to others. I hand spin with hand processed and commercial fleece creating unique yarns. I love weaving with different textiles together creating one off bespoke wraps and scarves….wearable art!
