Hey! My name is Laura and I am the designer and maker behind Sun & Sky Designs. I produce a range of unique earrings, jewellery, and wall hangings, crafted using polymer clay. I create all of my designs from my home studio, in small batches of between 3-6 pairs. I sometimes have a helper in the form of my beautiful British Shorthair cat, Pixel!
I started making earrings in March 2020, after the UK went into a national lockdown because of Coronavirus. As a full-time teacher, I started teaching my students online, which meant I needed something to do that could keep my mind active, away from a computer! I love the versatility of polymer clay, and how I could create earrings and jewellery to match all of my outfits! I am inspired by nature and flowers, incorporating these into my designs in various ways. I am loving using pastel colours, and creating themed earrings for every occasion!
