Being hugely influenced by the beautiful painting of ‘Ophelia’, by Sir John Everett Millais, Six Acre Meadow was born out of an obsession with all things feminine, whimsical but most importantly, sustainable. The founder, Clara, started making pouches for family & friends using remnant fabrics saved from her Fashion Design degree 16 years ago as a fresh graduate, to help compartmentalize the items in their handbags and around the home, but mostly as an alternative to disposable packaging.
She later started to offer designed and personalized versions which were purchased by other small businesses as a way to beautifully present their own products. Clara’s background in Fashion Design, love for vintage and all things botanical, is showcased throughout her range.
