Hello and welcome. I’m Emma the artist and maker behind My Jewellery Garden.
My passion is designing and making contemporary jewellery that is distinctive, meaningful and makes a statement.
Each piece of jewellery I create emerges intuitively from a beautiful flowing energy that is inspired by the forms & textures I observe in nature; interwoven quietly with meaning and symbolism.
I’m dedicated to bringing you enduring jewellery that is unique & striking in design and beautifully made using a blend of traditional & modern metalsmithing techniques.
I began designing and creating jewellery in 2020 while recovering from a debilitating depression that emerged after treatment for breast cancer. During my recovery, I was encouraged to explore my long forgotten love for arts and crafts and I found myself inextricably drawn to working with metals. It was my awakening to the healing power of creativity and when I first began to trust my intuition. I celebrate this each time I sit at my bench.
I balance making jewellery with my full time job as a project manager for an animal charity; and when I’m not making or at work, you’ll usually find me snuggled in my peaceful Cornish home with Pepe the cat, reading or enjoying a boxset. Or you’ll find me having an adventure along the Cornish coast.
