I’m a Sheffield-based silversmith, producing original silver and mixed metal pieces from my home workshop. My philosophy is that beautiful, meaningful, handmade jewellery that lasts for years and years should be for everyone. If we are to move away from mass-produced, poorly-made imported jewellery, there should be an alternative within reach of most people.
I became interested in silversmithing and metalworking in my late teens and early 20’s and finally set up my tiny silversmith workshop in the Steel City a few years ago. My twin inspirations are the industrial heritage of the Steel City – Sheffield – and the incredible Peak District on the doorstep.
I Heart Metal
My first love is metalworking. It’s elemental, alchemistic, challenging and a little bit magical.
Within that love, silver is my favourite metal. I never get tired of watching silver transform under heat. The shimmer and glow of molten metals is the thing I’m always striving to keep in the finished piece.
Please bear in mind that each piece of handmade jewellery will be unique and may have very minor differences to the one you see in the photograph.
Ethics & Other Stuff
I try to work ethically, and source my metals and gemstones with care. All the silver I work with is recycled. I’ve recently started using Argentium Silver alongside sterling silver, which is beautiful – super-bright and dazzlingly shiny! I think I’m a convert.
Socials and Gift Wrapping
I’m not really a Facebook user, but I keep Instagram up to date. I’ll usually put anything important up there – any craft fairs I’m selling at, new designs/sales and so on.
One point to note – everything you order from me will arrive beautifully gift wrapped, unless you ask me not to. That means a recyclable gift box, tissue paper and ribbons, and I’ll even add a handwritten gift card if you need one!
Any questions, drop me an message – I’ll get back to you within 24 hours!
