Momentoes by Marie is based in Blackpool in the Northwest of England, UK.

In my shop you will find an array or unique gifting ideas for all the special people in your life, each piece is handmade with love and care by me, Marie.

I started my journey by learning how to create keepsake jewellery because I loved the sentiment that comes with it.  From this my love of glass was born. It’s so versatile and I really enjoy creating unique bespoke gifts with this fabulous medium. Each of my pieces start their life as a square piece of clear or coloured glass. This is then cut into shapes, and decorated with glass paint, powders and tiny glass fragments which adds a texture and depth. Some pieces require more than one firing and some have induvial elements which are made first and added to the piece for firing in a kiln at approximately 800 degrees for 12-14 hours.
