Hi

I am Julie and I am a self-taught artist and crafter. I have always been creative and originally trained as a hairdresser and beauty therapist many moons ago!

Creating artwork is my real passion and I take commissions for all types of work and in many mediums. I particularly like working with colour pencils, pastels and charcoal.

All commission requests are considered. I spend time chatting with customers collaborating on ideas and I like to provide updates throughout.

Alongside my artwork, I also create a number of handcrafted items.

• Jewellery

I have over 10 years of experience making jewellery and work with a variety of materials; including, polymers clay, resin, wire and gemstones. I make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, rings, bag charms and other accessories. I also work with a variety of findings, including stainless steel and sterling silver. I always have a variety of readymade pieces but do take commissions too.

• Candles

I have been making candles for 10 years and use eco soy wax. I buy my candle scents from a reputable supplier; all include safety data and are labelled in accordance with the law.

Products include luxury pipped candles and melts, tinned candles, glass candles and a variety of wax melt styles. I have a variety of scents in my collection to suit all tastes.

• Sewn goods

I have been sewing for about 5 years and love it!

I make a variety of goods including, bags, memory bears, hats and hair accessories. My portfolio continues to increase.

• Decoupage

Again, I have been practicing the skill of decoupage for over 10 years. It’s a wonderful craft and has many applications. My main decoupage work is on glass or wooden boxes, though I have included this type of art in my jewellery and bag making too.

• Resin

I first started using resin in some of my jewellery and other clay projects. I have since started making a variety of ornamental goods. It offers such versatility, and I will continue to experiment.

As you can probably tell, I’m a bit of a craft addict! I just love creating and will continue to update and perfect new skills along the way!
