I hope you enjoy my faux flower creations for all seasons. Each is unique, lovingly handcrafted and filled with my time and love. I’m inspired by nature and my favourite artworks of the Pre-Raphaelites and William Morris. I love nature’s tumbles of lush foliage, fairy-tale flowers, berries and blossoms so I use the best quality faux flowers and foliage to create designs that will enhance any home, from rustic and cottage styled to slick modern. I carefully pick silk and fabric flowers that look real but will last for years to come. When I sell at markets I am thrilled that many people are shocked to find the flowers are not ‘real’ – such a great compliment.
I live in the Wiltshire countryside which is always beautiful so I have lots of walks close-by which inspire me. I enjoy all sorts of creative endeavours from drawing and painting to cake baking. I am very often found in the kitchen and love making celebration cakes for friends and family. I’m pretty fond of eating them too I have to admit.
I started making my wreaths simply because I wanted a pretty wreath to hang on my front door. The process turned out to be rather addictive and soon a dedicated room evolved as the flowers were taking over the house. I guess there are worse things to be overrun by than beautiful flowers. Friends and family started buying from me, wreaths make fab presents, so then I began selling online and at markets. My favourite sales have been to couples out celebrating wedding anniversaries and buying to commemorate their special day but honestly, all sales are magical. I absolutely love seeing photos of my wreaths on their new doors and walls around the country.
