Hello. I’m Janet – a photographer, collage artist and printmaker from the West Coast of Scotland.
After working as a book designer in the publishing industry, I ran my own successful graphic design business and taught Visual Communication and Photography for over 25 years.
My designs are inspired by my love of nature and the outdoors – from mountains to the sea, woodland to wild meadows. These images feature on my greeting cards, small gifts, cyanotypes and fine art prints. My online shop is a new venture, so my range of available designs and products will expand as the seasons change over the coming year.
Designs feature images created in my garden or on country and coastal walks. I incorporate hand-created textures, making each image truly unique.
Botanical prints and cyanotypes are created with real plants and flowers which either come from my garden or are gathered responsibly from windfall.
I am committed to creating and packaging sustainably and aim to recycle or reuse as much as possible in my studio. My aim this year is to support several environmental charities through the sale of my work.
