Vendor Biography
Furzie (Michelle Hickman) creates sculptures using just wool and a wire armature, creating pieces with character and humour.
The needlefelting technique does not involve any stitching or glueing and this lends a feeling of spontaneity, freedom and naturalness to the work. Furzie teaches at over a dozen venues nationwide, including her own workshop in South Somerset and she also undertakes commissions.
