Foxy Sewing

Vendor Biography

My name is Linda Rendle and I am the owner of Foxy Sewing, based in Margate, Kent. I love sewing, painting and photography and make a variety of fabric and hand painted gifts; often combining  the three by using my paintings and photos printed onto fabric. Most of my work has a wildlife element (both flora and fauna) as this is my passion. Sea life is frequently depicted in my work as I am lucky to live on the coast. I am particularly fond of bees, which probably stems from good memories of my father who was a keen garden beekeeper, so expect to see bees included in my work. Another regular feature in my work is William our adorable Jack Russell Terrier, who we gave a forever home from Battersea.

Foxy Sewing is derived from my maiden name, however I am also keen on foxes and feed a beautiful pair who visit our front garden every night. I may need to consider adding painting into my name in the future as I am increasingly enjoying creating with paint. This is work in development and learning more all the time by attending regular local art classes. Sewing is something I have done for many years, learning skills from my mother and grandmother.

All items  are made with good quality products. Packaging wherever possible is recyclable, reusable or from recycled materials. I aim for your package to be a treat to open, so I make sure it is packaged pleasingly and securely. I try to keep the environment in mind with all my work and ensure no fabric gets wasted.

All the items I create are made with care and attention. I hope they bring some joy to whoever is kind enough to purchase from me. Thank you for taking time to visit my work and supporting my small business.
