Hello! I’m Michele and my handmade business is called Four Seasons By Michele.
I have been sewing and crafting for many, many years…my home is full of my hand made creations and I have made countless gifts and personal orders for friends and family. As well as making stock for sale in my online shop and for direct commissions I am also a Member of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles and a professional bag pattern and quilt pattern tester. I also design and publish my own quilt and bag patterns.
I have been selling my handmade items online since 2016, when I swapped my career in accountancy for a full time position in my sewing room! My range includes many variations of patchwork and quilted bags, formal bags, fabric covered trinket boxes, quilted patchwork cushions and table runners and much, much more!
I am continually adding to my sewing skills and regularly attend courses and workshops in order to learn new techniques and find out about new fabric trends and creative ideas.
The finished items that I sell have to pass my own “quality inspection” – would I buy them myself? I love what I do and guarantee that every item for sale in my British Craft House shop has been personally handmade by me, in my sewing room at home in Berkshire in the south of the UK.
