My name is Carol and I have loved art since I was a child. My other passions include the countryside and farming, so this is where I draw my inspiration.
I grew up on a farm and have some wonderful memories of playing down a lane with my siblings – the lane was called Nettlepole and that’s where the name for my shop has come from.
Everything I sell is handmade, painted etc nothing is mass printed. I use watercolours and ink and basic linocuts.
I love painting hares and owls but also any bird and animal.
