My name is Ness aka BinkyBoo (my Wii name) I am a self taught Macramist and a certified Vegan Founded small business
My Love of knotting started in September 2021 when attending a Vegan market in Horsham and I saw a wood turning stall with 2 plant hangers displaying wooden bowls. I immediately wanted to feel the intricate knots, they were so tactile & I knew in that moment, I wanted to create beautiful things using knots
When I got home from my holiday, the 1st thing I did was to purchase string, found a video of a wall hanging & decided to make one! I was hooked, the passion within grew, the light inside glowed & it has been there ever since!
Macrame is a mindful practice, my meditation, my calm, my grounding, the obvious add on was to start workshops because I wanted others to feel the mindful calmness of knotting and the amazing feeling of creating something beautiful
I have an old AA van, I’ve kept her yellow and called her Ziggy in memory of my love for David Bowie. Ziggy is being fitted out into a campervan so that I can travel around UK, knot along the way, go to markets, and teach
