Thank you so much for visiting my shop. I’m Tassia, and working from my small studio in rural East Sussex, I love to meticulously stitch together hundreds of tiny glass beads, creating intricate jewellery designs.
Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for crafting, often making little stitched gifts for my family. This love for creating led me to study at The Paris Academy of Fashion in Central London, where I discovered and fell in love with tambour beading. After spending much time learning this technique, I began taking on beading commissions for several bridal wear designers.
The years I spent embellishing and crafting bridal gowns inspired me to take the leap and start my own business, Tassles. At Tassles, I initially focused on designing and creating custom bridal gowns, along with a collection of delicately beaded accessories. However, after starting a family and wanting to spend more time with my children, I decided to concentrate solely on the accessory side of my business.
During this time I discovered the art of bead weaving, which perfectly combined my love for sewing and passion for jewellery making. After years of learning, designing, and working on collections, I founded ANGEL & PEARL – blending traditional bead weaving techniques with contemporary design.
