Wrist Wrap Weaving Kit
£18.00
Learning to weave can be a fascinating and rewarding craft with these easy to use kits. The re-usable mini loom, comb and beater are made from sustainable wood and each kit makes two wrist wraps. After that you are can go on to create your own designs maybe using your yarn stash, silk fibres or beads to make gifts for friends? Full instructions are included and the kit is suitable for older children and adults.
Your kit includes
- Mini Weaving Loom made from sustainable wood
- Comb
- Stick/beater
- Tapestry weaving needle to weave thread through the warp
- Cotton thread or yarn for weaving warp and weft in co-ordinating colours.
- Full Instructions are included and no assembly of loom required
You will need scissors.
Here’s a general overview of the weaving process: The ‘warp’ threads are wrapped around the mini loom and tied off with a simple knot. This is then a simple ‘tabby weave’ where you pass the weft yarn through the warp threads, alternating between over and under, using the weaving needle. Press down each row tightly with the comb. Simply cut and then plait tying a knot at the ends.
Please note colours may vary between screens and monitors
