Can you be bold, while remaining neutral? With this ring I’d say you absolutely can! Understated metallic tones combine to dramatic effect in this piece. Adapting the ancient Japanese technique of Mokume Gane (traditionally used for decorating the hilts of samurai swords), I’ve created layers of pearlescent charcoal, silver and pale copper polymer clay, and contrasted them with a deep, granite coloured resin, all surrounded by a sterling silver frame and set on a hammered sterling band.
The frame measures 28mm in diameter, while the band is 4mm wide. This ring is a size P-Q.
