Sterling silver bird & black ring pendant necklace

This cute necklace consists of a sterling silver bird on oxidised sterling silver wire.

Making

To create the necklace I used traditional silversmithing techniques. The bird was cut from recycled sterling silver using a fine jewellery saw.  A ring was made using sterling silver wire and the bird was soldered to this. The pendant was oxidised (to give the silver a black finish), with the bird filed back to silver (which give a lovely contrast to the blackened silver). To finish, the necklace hangs from 45cm sterling silver chain. As all my jewellery is handmade, there may be a slight variation in the sent piece to the pictures shown.

Inspiration

One of my earliest collections was based on the blossom and birds in my garden. Whilst the pieces in the range have changed over time, I have kept this little bird design. The collection also features matching earrings.

Packaging

The necklace will arrive in a black jewellery box, complete with simple care instructions and a small square of silver polish.

Delivery

This necklace is ready to ship in 3-5 business days, however, once purchased, I will endeavour to despatch as soon as possible. Standard delivery with Imogen George Jewellery is via Royal Mail 2nd class Signed For and there is no extra charge for this. However, I do offer a delivery upgrade; when purchasing your necklace, please choose which delivery option you would like.

Dispatch

Processing time for shipping goods is 3 to 5 business days, however I will endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible. If you require an order by a specific date please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order then please contact me as soon as possible and before the item is dispatched for a refund. It the order has already been dispatched then a refund will be issued when the piece has been returned unworn and in it's original packaging.

UK delivery

I currently deliver to the UK only via Royal Mail second class Signed For (shipping upgrade is available when purchasing).

Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of the purchase date. It must be returned unworn and in the original packaging. To initiate a return, please contact me with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed with the return process. Once your returned order has arrived we will contact you and issue a refund within 48 hours. We cannot be held responsible for any returned orders getting lost so please retain your proof of postage in case you need to make a claim with the delivery company that you have used for your return. Please note earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless faulty.
