A solid Yew sphere. Hand turned from a solid piece on a wood lathe the ball is 17cms in diameter. Sits on a stand so can be rotated in all directions to show different grain and texturing. The colours in Yew vary from white to chocolate brown and all hues and variants are in this sphere. Very tactile, but very heavy (2.5kgs) but the ball can be rotated in a slightly different way to show a different aspect which makes it a very decorative piece of wooden art.

All wooden items in my shop are made from scratch and often involves a number of processes, such as glueing, finishing and oiling, each of which takes time and is subject to weather conditions. I specify 2 weeks as the usual order to delivery time and has proved to be mostly achievable, but if the weather is cold, wet and windy, or permutations of all 3, delivery may take a little longer.
