Silver Limpet Shell Necklace

These beautiful silver limpet shell necklaces have been recreated from beautiful limpet shells found on the shores of Yellow Craigs and Tyninghame beaches in East Lothian, Scotland. Perfect gift for a beach lover or a mother and daughter gift.

Using a silicon moulding compound I have been able to capture the delicate textures nature has created allowing me to then recreate beautiful shells in pure silver.

DIMENSIONS:
Small limpet shell 10 x 14mm (sourced on Tyninghame Beach)
Window limpet shell 20 x 23mm (sourced on Yellow Craigs Beach)
Chain, is adjustable and can be worn at either 16 or 18 inches. If you would prefer a different length though please get in touch.

MATERIALS:
Pendant is made from fine silver* with a sterling silver jump rings and chain.

*fine or pure silver as its also known is made from microscopic particles of pure silver (much of which is recycled) embedded in an organic binder. It can be rolled, moulded, shaped, textured and stamped before drying and then firing. During firing, the binder burns away, and the result is a beautiful piece of fine silver which is 99.9% pure and, unlike sterling silver which is 92.5%, it will remain super shiny with only a quick polish required now and again.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING:
As standard the necklace will be beautifully presented in a Ticketyboo Coo gift box tied with a ribbon. You can be assured you’re your item will be beautifully presented and delivered to you in a safe and efficient manner.

SShipping within the United Kingdom is included and purchases will be sent via Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service.  Currently my shop is only set up for posting within the United Kingdom, if you live outside the UK and are interested in something please do get in touch with me and I will happily investigate the postage options.

It isn’t possible to detect the precious metal content of a piece of jewellery by sight or touch. Therefore, if it’s described as being made of or containing precious metals and weighs above 7.78g for silver and 1g for gold then, it is a legal requirement for it to be hallmarked as such by an Assay Office. I’m registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office and will always ensure that my work is hallmarked according to the necessary UK regulations

PACKAGING & SHIPPING:
As standard all necklaces are beautifully presented on a Ticketyboo Coo gift box tied with ribbon and earrings are presented on a hand made earring card in a gorgeous grey cotton gift bag. With earrings there is also an option to upgrade to a gift box for an additional charge prior to check out.

Regardless of the packaging option that you choose you can be assured you’re your item will be beautifully presented and delivered to you in a safe and efficient manner.

Shipping within the United Kingdom is included and purchases above £20.00 will be sent via Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service.

Having happy customers is one of the things I love most about my job. If there are any issues or concerns with your purchase, I am more than happy to discuss and accept returns. Please contact me via email ([email protected]) within 7 days of receiving your order and return any items to me within 14 days.

Please return all items in fully a re-saleable condition, i.e. unworn and unaltered and in the original packaging. As soon as the returned item is received a refund will be issued. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
