Silver Sycamore Leaf Earrings

 

These earrings are based on a real sycamore leaf from the banks of Edinburgh’s Union Canal. The original leaf was coated with numerous layers of silver clay paste, it was then fired and the resulting solid silver leaf was then used to make a mould which allows me to recreate natures stunning designs in silver.

DIMENSIONS
Approximately 9mm x 9mm at their widest points.

MATERIALS:
Made from *fine silver with sterling silver ear posts and scrolls.

*fine or pure silver as its also known is made from microscopic particles of pure silver (much of which is recycled) embedded in an organic binder. It can be rolled, moulded, shaped, textured and stamped before drying and then firing. During firing, the binder burns away, and the result is a beautiful piece of fine silver which is 99.9% pure and, unlike sterling silver which is 92.5%, it will remain super shiny with only a quick polish required now and again.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING:
As standard all earrings are beautifully presented on a Ticketyboo Coo earring card, safely enclosed in a grey cotton gift bag.

If you would like to upgrade the packaging to a ticketyboo coo gift box tied with a ribbon, you can do so by selecting the gift packaging upgrade option. 

Regardless of the packaging option that you choose you can be assured you’re your item will be beautifully presented and delivered to you in a safe and efficient manner.

Shipping within the United Kingdom is included and purchases will be sent via Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service.  Currently my shop is only set up for posting within the United Kingdom, if you live outside the UK and are interested in something please do get in touch with me and I will happily investigate the postage options.

Handmade with love from start to finish. Everything is handmade by me at my home studio in Edinburgh. Using both traditional and modern techniques, only the highest quality materials and a little bit of love. I’m a firm believer in anything is possible and love nothing better than sitting at my bench without a plan to see what I can make.

It isn’t possible to detect the precious metal content of a piece of jewellery by sight or touch. Therefore, if it’s described as being made of or containing precious metals and weighs above 7.78g for silver and 1g for gold then, it is a legal requirement for it to be hallmarked as such by an Assay Office. I’m registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office and will always ensure that my work is hallmarked according to the necessary UK regulations.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING:
As standard all necklaces are beautifully presented on a Ticketyboo Coo gift box tied with ribbon and earrings are presented on a hand made earring card in a gorgeous grey cotton gift bag. With earrings there is also an option to upgrade to a gift box for an additional charge prior to check out.

Regardless of the packaging option that you choose you can be assured you’re your item will be beautifully presented and delivered to you in a safe and efficient manner.

Shipping within the United Kingdom is included and purchases above £20.00 will be sent via Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service.

Refund Policy

Having happy customers is one of the things I love most about my job. If there are any issues or concerns with your purchase, I am more than happy to discuss and accept returns. Please contact me via email ([email protected]) within 7 days of receiving your order and return any items to me within 14 days.

Please return all items in fully a re-saleable condition, i.e. unworn and unaltered and in the original packaging. As soon as the returned item is received a refund will be issued. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
