Our Red Squirrel Sculpture is hand painted and a limited edition. There are just two left of this colourful version of the figurine in autumnal colours (December 2023).
’Rowan’ is a life sized juvenile red squirrel sculpture. This detailed wildlife piece shows a mischievous young female squirrel in an autumnal woodland floor setting surrounded by colourful newly fallen leaves, conkers and Toadstools.
She has been hand made using traditional sculpting techniques and produced as a limited edition in both hand painted resin and cold-cast copper.
The piece is 19cm high by 11cm x 15cm wide. The current processing time for Rowan is 1-2 working days, with next day insured special delivery via Royal Mail.

‘Rowan’ is the fifth in the series of red squirrel pieces by sculptor, Kirsty Armstrong. It is made from cast resin and is a strict limited edition of 150 pieces, some of which are made in polished cold-cast copper (please see separate listing).
How ‘Rowan’ was made…
Kirsty first sculpted Rowan by hand in modelling wax using traditional sculpting methods and lots of photographic reference. She was given permission to use some of the beautiful photographs taken by the late Norman Scott of the red squirrels at the National Trust’s Wallington Hall in the North east of England. After sculpting, Rowan was moulded and cast in Cumbria, in the north of England, and then hand painted.
This resin version is hand painted and suitable for INSIDE USE ONLY.

There is currently a 1-2 working day processing time set.
‘Rowan’ will be shipped using special next day delivery (UK only). International shipping is via Royal Mail and takes approximately 5-7 working days. Please do get in touch if your shipping destination is not yet visible, however, bear in mind that we currently do not ship to Europe.
She is shipped individually in her own custom made packaging.

His Majesty King Charles owns one of Kirsty’s red squirrel sculptures…it is called ‘Charles’ and lives on the Balmoral estate in Scotland, at Birkhall.

Shipping Policy
As items can vary in their availability and the time it takes to produce them, please see individual product listings for processing times.
Each item is carefully packed using recycled cardboard boxes and where possible, recycled inner packaging from local businesses.
Items with a value of less than £20 are shipped using standard Royal Mail 1st class.
Items with a value of more than £20 and up to £50 are shipped using Royal Mail 1st class signed for. A small fee is added to the current Royal Mail prices to cover the cost of the box and admin time.
More expensive items are shipped using Royal Mail Special delivery guaranteed by 1pm next day.
Large bulky items over 2kg, such as Harriet Hare, are shipped within the UK via Parcelforce24. International orders are shipped using UPS.
Email and local contact phone numbers are required for some shipping. These will only be used and passed on to couriers for the safe delivery of your order, in the event of a return, and also for use by customs for international orders.
Returns
I accept returns for all items except those which have been customised. I do not accept exchanges.
Please contact me within 14 days of receipt via [email protected] if you wish to return an item. You must contact me first before arranging to return your order.
Items must be packaged securely to prevent movement within the box and the original packaging must be used.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is damaged upon your receipt of it.
Please ensure that a tracked and insured shipping method is used for any returns as payment for damage or loss of any uninsured parcel will be the customers responsibility.
Please contact me via email if your item arrives damaged. Retain the packaging and photograph any damage to the outside and the damage to the item.

When you place an order with me I will receive your name, delivery address, email address and contact phone number via TBCH. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
Refund Policy
Please contact me within 14 days of receipt via [email protected] if you wish to return an item. You must contact me first before arranging to return your order. The refund amount will be minus the original shipping costs. The customer is also responsible for the return shipping costs.

When the item has been received back in perfect condition, the refund process will start immediately. It may take a number of days for the refund to appear in your account.
I also reserve the right to refuse a sale and then make a full refund if for some reason I cannot fulfil an order.
