Limited edition Red Squirrel Sculpture hand made in cold-cast copper or cold-cast Iron (metal and resin).
’Rowan’ is a life size juvenile red squirrel sculpture. This detailed wildlife sculpture shows a mischievous young female squirrel in an autumnal woodland floor setting, with newly fallen leaves and conkers peeping out from their casings.
She has been hand made using traditional sculpting techniques, and produced as a limited edition in cold-cast copper or iron, as well as in hand painted resin (available in another listing).
The piece is 19cm high by 11cm x 15cm wide. There is currently a processing time of 3 working days on this piece (December 2023). This piece is now almost sold out with only 3 copper squirrels left available from the strict limited edition.

This Red Squirrel sculpture, ‘Rowan’ is the fifth in a series of squirrel sculptures by sculptor, Kirsty Armstrong.
Rowan is hand made as a limited edition of 150 pieces, some of which are made in polished cold-cast copper and some are in colourful hand painted resin.
How ‘Rowan’ was made…
Kirsty first sculpted Rowan in modelling wax using traditional sculpting methods and lots of photographic reference. Rowan was then moulded and cast here in Cumbria, in the north of England, and subsequently polished and waxed by hand.
This copper version is suitable for both INSIDE AND OUT but it must be sealed with lacquer to stop verdigris forming when placed outside (There is a small charge for lacquering).

‘Rowan’ will be shipped using special next day delivery (UK only) International destinations can take between 6-10 days.
She is shipped individually in her own custom made packaging.

His Majesty King Charles owns one of Kirsty’s red squirrel sculptures (‘Charles’) after Kirsty presented it to him in 2011. Squirrel Charles now lives on the Balmoral estate, at Birkhall.

Shipping Policy
As items can vary in their availability and the time it takes to produce them, please see individual product listings for processing times.
Each item is carefully packed using recycled cardboard boxes and where possible, recycled inner packaging from local businesses.
Items with a value of less than £20 are shipped using standard Royal Mail 1st class.
Items with a value of more than £20 and up to £50 are shipped using Royal Mail 1st class signed for. A small fee is added to the current Royal Mail prices to cover the cost of the box and admin time.
More expensive items are shipped using Royal Mail Special delivery guaranteed by 1pm next day.
Large bulky items over 2kg, such as Harriet Hare, are shipped within the UK via Parcelforce24. International orders are shipped using UPS.
Email and local contact phone numbers are required for some shipping. These will only be used and passed on to couriers for the safe delivery of your order, in the event of a return, and also for use by customs for international orders.
Returns
I accept returns for all items except those which have been customised. I do not accept exchanges.
Please contact me within 14 days of receipt via [email protected] if you wish to return an item. You must contact me first before arranging to return your order.
Items must be packaged securely to prevent movement within the box and the original packaging must be used.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is damaged upon your receipt of it.
Please ensure that a tracked and insured shipping method is used for any returns as payment for damage or loss of any uninsured parcel will be the customers responsibility.
Please contact me via email if your item arrives damaged. Retain the packaging and photograph any damage to the outside and the damage to the item.

I (Kirsty Armstrong Kenny) am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order with me I will receive your name, delivery address, email address and contact phone number via TBCH. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose (other than the circumstances listed below), or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I will retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
Refund Policy
Please contact me within 14 days of receipt via [email protected] if you wish to return an item. You must contact me first before arranging to return your order. The refund amount will be minus the original shipping costs, and any Stripe payment processing fees connected with the order. The customer is also responsible for the return shipping costs.

When the item has been received back in perfect condition, the refund process will start immediately. It may take a number of days for the refund to appear in your account.
I also reserve the right to refuse a sale and then make a full refund if for some reason I cannot fulfil an order.
Please take careful note of the processing times stated on the listings. Bigger pieces are hand made to order and take time to produce. Any orders which are cancelled before dispatch will incur a fee; the Stripe payment processing fees will be deducted from any refund.
