A gorgeous set of naturally dyed yarn skeins + an original wildlife art card – both created in south-west Scotland. One of a set of four designs: Osprey, Red Kite, Lapwing, Pink Footed Goose.

* 5 x 20g mini skeins in a unique and limited edition set – colour matched to local wild birds found in south-west Scotland.

* Yarn base: 4 ply/ Fingering – 400m/ 100g in total – 100% British Blue Faced Leicester wool.

* Personally hand dyed in south-west Scotland, UK. All using natural dye sources, such as indigo, madder, weld, brazilwood, logwood, etc.

* Original Wildlife Art card and envelope – reproduction of watercolour and ink study, as exclusively designed by Rosie Dobson who is a wildlife artist and printmaker based in south-west Scotland

Note: Recommend lukewarm, gentle hand-wash/soak. Although washed and thoroughly rinsed after dyeing, 100% colour fastness can not be guaranteed so strongly suggest that initial first washes are separate from other items. Natural dyes can gradually fade over time with washing and light exposure.
