Hand Thrown Ceramic Mug – made by Chris Hawkins Potter in our workshop in the Tamar Valley on the borders of Devon & Cornwall UK.

A lovely modern twist on the handmade mug, great for your morning coffee or tea.

This mug has been thrown on the wheel, the pulled handle is beautifully proportioned, ergonomic & very easy to hold with thumb rest. The foot is trimmed and the body is hand decorated with a zesty citrus green & turquoise blue with rich red accents. It is glazed with a transparent glaze to finish and then earthenware fired.

Holds 250ml ~ 8.5 floz

A great size for coffee from our Tassimo machine.

We have microwaved drinks, put through the dishwasher multiple times and not had any problems with these mugs, i even carry a pair of test mugs in a bag with our lunch to our workshop & home everyday for the past few months whilst Chris was developing shapes & colours and despite much clinking i haven’t got a single chip (unlike the cheap supermarket ones!!)
As they are decorated by hand each mug will differ slightly from the next.
