Beautiful watercolour wash on calico, cotton fabric representing the sky and the calm sea. I have then hand embroidered the details of a sailing boat, sailing calmly through the water. I use one strand of embroidery thread to create as much detail as I can. It takes a bit longer, but I think the results are worth it.

The hoop I have used is a stretch plastic hoop that will keep the embroidery taught for many years to come. It has a decorative hook which is all ready for to to hang on the wall.
