A fine silver poppy seed head pendant. A poppy seed head hand painted with 16 layers of fine silver paste, when dry it was fired in a digitally controlled kiln then polished to reveal this cute little poppy head measuring 1cm. in diameter.
The pendant comes with a choice of 18 inch and 20 inch sterling silver chain.
Comes with the choice of a small satin jewellery pouch or a small white gift box.
Fine silver clay is a wonderful almost magical material. It’s made from extremely fine particles of metal, mixed with organic binders and water. During firing, using a digitally controlled kiln, the binders vaporise, the powder sinters, and the soft clay turns into real solid silver 999.
