This pendant has been created from a real leaf, meticulously painted with numerous layers of fine silver paste. During the kiln firing process, the organic material burns away, leaving the intricate details of the leaf perfectly preserved in silver. The metal is then carefully formed and bent to create the three-dimensional shape of a leaf, using a combination of hand tools and heat and a handcrafted sterling silver bail has been soldered to the back of the piece. Lastly, the pendant has been oxidised with a patina to enhance its delicate details, offering a rustic yet refined charm that feels timeless.
- Leaf dimensions: Approx. 2.8cm at the widest point by 3.8cm in length
- Pendant drop: Approx. 4.4cm (from top of bail to the bottom of the leaf)
- Chain: 22 -inch sterling silver belcher chain – (other lengths available upon request)
