This unique sterling silver and copper Robin Pin (suitable for clothing, lapel, scarf or hat) has been designed and handcrafted by Carolyn in her garden workshop, using traditional silversmithing techniques and tools.
The Robin means so much to so many of us, whether it symbolises fresh beginnings and hope and or is a comforting reminder that ‘robins appear when loved ones are near’.

This unique silver and copper robin pin has been created from sterling silver sheet and copper has been used to create the robin’s red breast.
The robin measures approx. 2.5cm (from beak to tail) by 1.5cm (from top of head to tummy).
A sterling silver long pin (suitable for clothing, lapel, scarf or hat) has been soldered to the back of the robin and has a sterling silver push on protector (length of pin and protector is 5cm).
Each item is individually handcrafted, so every piece is unique and may differ slightly in size and texture from the photo
With each copper item sold I will enclose a small copper cloth to help keep its lustre as copper will oxidise. However, you may choose for it to naturally oxidise which creates a wonderful look of its own!
This item will be beautifully presented in a Silverbird Designs’ gift box.
