This blackwork embroidery chart brings traditional 16th Century Elizabethan blackwork concepts into an up-to-date, fresh, modern design.
This design could be stitched completely in black or in colour choices to suit your own taste.
The chart comes with full instructions, taking you through the stitching basics (using backstitch or Holbein – double running stitch) to help you recreate this pattern.
Design size:
Stitches – 98 wide x 96 high
Size shown stitched on 14 count Aida 17.0cm (6.75″) x 18.0cm (7.0″) (28 Count Evenweave fabric could be used also).
(Extra fabric allowance included for tensioning in hoop/ frame whilst stitching, and for mounting the finished item).
