Hand-dyed using all natural botanical sources in the rural Glenkens of Southwest Scotland. Perfect for your ‘peedie’ one.

Shetland wool is warm, breathable, soft and durable. Hand-knitted with no seams. Using a clever construction the sock has an extra cuff area at the ankle and across the foot to help it fit snuggly and help avoid the sock being kicked-off as baby wiggles. Use of natural dye sources avoid harsh chemicals and offers an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to mass produced ‘fast-fashion’ wear. The wool is produced and processed on the Shetland islands, UK.

Newborn – 7.5 cm heel to toe
0 – 6 months – 8.5 cm heel to toe
6 – 12 months – 9.5 cm heel to toe

Botanical dye sources used include: Weld, Indigo, Madder, Brazilwood, Logwood, Nettle, etc.

Gentle hand wash only – suggest using a wool soak or non-biological delicate detergent. Press inside a towel to remove excess water (do not wring). Dry flat. Do not tumble dry.

Note: Although washed and thoroughly rinsed after dyeing, with natural dyes 100% colour fastness can not be guaranteed so suggest that initial first washes are separate from other items.
