Dragonflies and waterlilies painting

Dragonflies and waterlilies multimedia wall art. 3 Pewter dragonflies depicted darting over a lilly pond.
The background of this highly textural work is inspired by Monet’s Waterlilies, It is painted in acrylics on board with the further addition of mica, embossing powders, glitter and interference colours which make the picture sparkle ans shine, changing colours with the light and angle that it is viewed from. Each pewter dragonfly is carefully hand tooled, not stamped hammered or cast.

The last photo is of the picture in a frame, this is purely to give an impression of how it will look as it is highly impractical to post a heavy frame with glass.
