Lovely bird mirror made from English pewter.
This hand tooled pewter mirror features a dove of peace with an olive branch in its beak along the bottom.
The technique I use is called repousse work, the metal is worked and pushed out from the back and in again from the front until I am happy with the design.
This mirror is 14 inches high by approx 4 inches wide and the steel hanger adds another 2 inches.
Modern pewter is lead free and so remains bright. My mirrors are often made from offcuts of larger pieces of glass. They are all hand cut and sizes are approximate. The length or height including the wire hanger at the top is approx 16 inches overall.
As each mirror is unique and handmade it may vary slightly from the image above. Please take this in to account when ordering and let me know if you need to order one with EXACT measurements.
