Decorative Hare Design Metal Keepsake Box

£20.00

Our decorative pewter Hare and Moon keepsake tin is a delightful and well made gift for any Hare or wildlife lover.

This smaller sized square tin is ideal for storing all sorts of treasure. If you prefer to use this gorgeous tin for treats, it is perfectly safe for human food. It could also be used as a keepsake or memory box for those special bits & pieces, or as an Easter gift.

It features a hand made plaque in cold-cast Pewter (metal and resin) which has been designed, sculpted and finished by sculptor, Kirsty Armstrong.

The words associated with this ancient Pagan symbol of the Moon-gazing Hare are inscribed around the outside of the plaque;

Growth… Abundance… New beginnings… Good fortune… Fertility and Rebirth, making it a relevant gjft for all sorts of occasions.

The tin is 10cm square and is approximately 4cm deep.

This gorgeous little Hare & Moon tin is perfect for treats or treasure! It could be used to keep your favourite jewellery safe on holiday…as a secret sweet stash…a child or baby keepsake memorial tin…or as a gift for a new baby

Features

It is a square silver coloured tin made from robust tinplate and features a hand made Hare & Moon design in cold-cast metal on the push on lid.

I am a sculptor and I hand cast my original design in cold-cast pewter. The detailed relief was first sculpted in wax before being moulded and then produced in cold-cast metal by … just me!

Dimensions…

The tin measures 10cm by 10cm and is approximately 4cm deep.

Care instructions…

The tin can safely be used for storing ‘human’ treats, however please note that the lid should only be wiped clean rather than being immersed in water.

The body of the tin can be gently hand washed using a soft cloth.

Delivery…

Please check the processing times on the listing. These vary depending on how busy I am in the workshop.

The tins are dispatched using first or second class standard small parcel post, which usually takes 1-2 (or 2-3) days after the order has been made up.  Some International shipping destinations have been added. Unfortunately, I currently do not post to Europe.
