Bespoke Pet Portrait – commission a hand-beaded portrait of your pet

This will be a custom, hand-beaded pet portrait, designed and created especially for you.  The photos in the listing show examples of the items I have created for others.  I hand-bead all of my pieces at my home in Hampshire, closely supervised by my own cats, Ash & Cinders.  Each hand-beaded portrait generally takes 8-10 hours to complete, but I love the order and rhythm of the bead-embroidery process, sewing each individual bead to create unique and beautiful pieces.

Here’s what you need to know:

• After purchasing this item, please send me an email and tell me what you’d like.  I will ask you to share several photos with me.
• You may opt to have a brooch, keychain, pendant, hanging ornament, or a framed piece – just let me know your preference.
• I will share a design image / sketch with you prior to starting the beading process.
• It will take me 3-4 weeks to design and hand bead your item (from the date of receiving your photos), but I will keep you updated with progress along the way.
• Your item will be backed with coordinating faux suede (if not framed), and meticulously edged with beads to create the finished piece.
• If a framed finish is chosen, your item will be carefully mounted and framed in a black 4″ x 4″ (10cm) acrylic box frame.
• Once complete, your beaded treasure will be carefully wrapped ready to give as a gift or as a treat to yourself!

Your item will be hand-crafted especially for you on a made-to-order basis, and will be handmade with care in a smoke-free and cat-friendly environment.  Your item is intended for decorative purposes; fishing twine is used in the creative process, ensuring the beads are attached firmly and will withstand normal day-to-day wear.  Please note, bead colours may appear slightly differently on different computer or device screens, and in different lighting.

Everybody loves receiving pretty packages through the post, and if they’re prettily wrapped then even better!  For a small additional cost, I can send your beautiful portrait wrapped in polka tissue with a pretty raffia ribbon tie.  I will also attach a gift tag with your preferred wording – please advise at the time of ordering.

Shipping Policy

Everybody loves receiving pretty packages through the post! Your item will be carefully wrapped and presented in either a cardboard gift box or envelope, and sent in a padded envelope. For a small additional cost, I can also provide a written gift tag/message.

My despatch times are clearly stated on each item - often my pieces are made to order so can take up to 2 weeks before despatch, but I will endeavour to ship earlier where I can.

Processing time for custom orders such as beaded pet portraits are generally longer, but I will confirm this with you at the point of order, and keep in regular contact with you to update you with progress.

Items will be shipped by Royal Mail’s first class service. Expedited shipping can be provided on request - please just ask. However, please note that I’m not able to guarantee a delivery date or time regardless of the shipping method chosen.

If your item is lost in transit, I will refer to Royal Mail policies and timescales regarding lost packages (generally 2 weeks after due date). I will endeavour to provide a replacement item or a refund.

I take great pride in my beaded creations, and ensuring my customers are happy is important to me. If there are any problems with an order, please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can discuss how I can best help to resolve things.

I understand that sometimes items may not quite fit the bill when you receive them. If that’s the case, and you wish to return an item, please contact me within 14 days, and return any items to me within a further 14 days.

Please note that any returned items must be unused and in their original condition, and be returned in their original packaging. I will arrange a full refund of your purchase once the item arrives back with me. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless the item is faulty.

Please also note that personalised orders cannot be refunded unless they are faulty.
