Hand Beaded Red Poppy Brooch Pin

Poppies have long been used as a symbol of sleep, peace, death and resurrection. Since the end of World War I, poppies have become an international symbol to commemorate fallen soldiers, especially in Commonwealth countries, and are often worn on clothing on the lead up to Remembrance Sunday (11th November).

With every purchase of this beautiful brooch, a contribution of £5 will be made to the Royal British Legion, a UK charity providing financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces.

This lovely poppy brooch will be hand-made to order, using a delicate bead embroidery technique and tiny glass seed beads. The red beads have a silver lining, giving them a subtle shimmer that catches the light and adds a touch of colour and sparkle to any outfit.

Details:

• Dimensions: 5cm (2″) wide including leaf x 3.7cm (1.5″) tall

• Brooch fixing: semi-concealed single pin round brooch fixing

• Materials: The brooch is beautifully bead embroidered with tiny sparkly seed beads, then a meticulous bead edging is added, and the piece is backed with soft faux suede, giving it a luxurious padded feel. Fishing twine is utilised in the creative process, ensuring the beads are attached firmly and will withstand normal day-to-day wear.

This brooch will be hand-crafted especially for you on a made-to-order basis. Although you may not receive the exact item pictured, your brooch will look almost identical, but with very slight variations due to the nature of hand-made items.

Shipping Policy

Everybody loves receiving pretty packages through the post! Your item will be carefully wrapped and presented in either a cardboard gift box or envelope, and sent in a padded envelope. For a small additional cost, I can also provide a written gift tag/message.

My despatch times are clearly stated on each item - often my pieces are made to order so can take up to 2 weeks before despatch, but I will endeavour to ship earlier where I can.

Processing time for custom orders such as beaded pet portraits are generally longer, but I will confirm this with you at the point of order, and keep in regular contact with you to update you with progress.

Items will be shipped by Royal Mail’s first class service. Expedited shipping can be provided on request - please just ask. However, please note that I’m not able to guarantee a delivery date or time regardless of the shipping method chosen.

If your item is lost in transit, I will refer to Royal Mail policies and timescales regarding lost packages (generally 2 weeks after due date). I will endeavour to provide a replacement item or a refund.

I take great pride in my beaded creations, and ensuring my customers are happy is important to me. If there are any problems with an order, please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can discuss how I can best help to resolve things.

I understand that sometimes items may not quite fit the bill when you receive them. If that’s the case, and you wish to return an item, please contact me within 14 days, and return any items to me within a further 14 days.

Please note that any returned items must be unused and in their original condition, and be returned in their original packaging. I will arrange a full refund of your purchase once the item arrives back with me. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless the item is faulty.

Please also note that personalised orders cannot be refunded unless they are faulty.
