Sterling Silver Chain Bracelet with Handmade Silver Shell and Sea Glass Charms.
£45.00
A dainty, one of a kind, sterling silver charm bracelet with a simple duo of handmade charms: a tiny seafoam-green sea glass ‘bead’ and a fine silver tiny fossil shell created by hand from an original shell using silver clay. The dinky piece of seafoam green sea glass found on the beach at Seaham in the North East of England, was drilled and threaded onto sterling silver bead wire to create a simple sea glass charm/bead.
The tiny silver shell is a fine silver replica of an original tiny fossil shell I found on the beach at Barton-on Sea in Hampshire, on one of my regular visits. I made a mould from the original shell, and used silver clay to recreate a solid fine silver replica of the original weeny fossil shell, which has been used to create a silver charm to pair with the tiny sea glass bead.
Measurements: Sterling silver 2mm bracelet chain and clasp measures 18cm including clasp. Fine silver shell measures 1.2cm x 0.6cm (approx.) Sea glass bead charm measures 1cm x 0.7cm x 0.2cm (approx.).
Each piece of sea glass is unique and each handmade shell is unique – creating a bracelet that is truly one of a kind.
The necklace will arrive wrapped in pale green tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a kraft pillow-box. A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available, see below.
The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 which is included.
See Description tab for more details and information.
A one of a kind silver charm bracelet made from a sterling silver chain and two handmade simple charms – a very small green seafoam sea glass bead and a solid fine silver tiny sea shell. Each charm has been made by hand. The seafoam coloured sea glass is a lovely but tiny piece found by me on the beach at Seaham, and has been drilled and threaded onto a solid sterling silver wire to create a ‘bead’. The shell is a fine silver replica of an original fossil shell I found on the beach at Barton-on Sea in Hampshire, on one of my regular visits. I made a mould from the original shell, and used silver clay to recreate a solid fine silver replica of the original shall. Silver clay is a very eco-friendly material, using tiny scraps from silver used in machinery (e.g. X-ray machines, and photocopiers) bound with an organic binder, to make a very malleable material. Once it’s dried and fired only solid, fine silver (99.9% pure silver) remains.

COMMISSIONS: You may also like to know that I love taking special requests and commissions – perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or event, or maybe just to turn a favourite ‘something’ you have collected into a piece of jewellery you can wear. So if you’d like to talk about creating something truly unique and bespoke for you or someone in your life please do get in touch, I’d love to help. Previous commissions have included turning a customer’s own sea-glass into a necklace, handcrafting a Bramble flower for a 21st birthday, recreating a dangly Catkin for a favourite sister or some coffee bean earrings for a Barista. It’s also worth knowing that commissions don’t necessarily cost more than items in the shop – it depends what you have in mind – so it’s always worth a no-strings chat.

All of my pieces are handmade with a lot of love and I take great pride in everything I make, and in seeing a smile on your face! I am a strong believer in hand-made meaning quality and also that because each piece is individually made by hand there sometimes may be irregularities on the surface reflecting the organic nature of the materials I work with , which creates truly one of a kind pieces.
I also know that occasionally things might go awry, and if you find that you have a problem with your item please contact me straight away so we can discuss how best to resolve the situation.
